The fine Waal format dates back to the 1920s. Just after the war, this stone was produced in abundance. The transition from hand moulding to the mechanical brickworks was then made. In terms of colour, you get a very nice palette of orange-pink-red, with some dark and white stones in between. Due to its graceful long and thin format, this brick is also very suitable for modern building styles. Price-wise, this is a cheap but very beautiful and hard stone. They don't make stones like this anymore! Always order in time, as old bricks are becoming rare.
