The old recycled hand-molded blue Paepe brick dates from the early 1820s to 1890s. The clay was put in a wooden mold and pushed by hand. As a result, the brick has a whimsical shape and a beautiful grain. The gray-blue color was obtained from this brick by removing the oxygen during baking. The antiquity of this brick can be seen in its unique character and appearance. This brick used to be used as a detail in masonry, eg in ornamental arches, skirting, etc. By recuperating this brick you get a very nice color palette of blue-gray with black in between. Please always order on time because this is a rare type of brick.
