The "Beerse boertjes" dates from the 1920s. Just after the war this stone was frequently produced. They then switched from the hand-made bakery to the mechanical brick factory. This size is an outsider, namely a short thick stone. Ideal for high buildings or the farmhouses of yesteryear. By recuperating this brick you get a very nice color palette of orange-pink-red with some dark and white bricks. Price-quality this is a very affordable but beautiful and hard stone. That way they do not make them anymore! Please always order on time because old bricks are becoming rare.
